Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free to explore the city. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay.
Day 5 - Barcelona
Breakfast. Morning guided panoramic city tour, visiting emblematic sites like Plaza Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia, with its 'modernista' style buildings. Explanation of Gaudi's masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia (entrance not included, tickets upon availability), and continue to Montjuich hill for majestic views of the city and port. Lunch at a restaurant. Afternoon free. Suggested walk along the famous Ramblas and the pedestrian streets of the Gothic Quarter, full of historical buildings, bars, cafes, restaurants, and street artists. Close by are the port and Olympic Port, always pleasant for a stroll. Overnight stay.
Day 6 - Barcelona - Valencia
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Valencia, a city nestled on fertile lands with a mild Mediterranean climate, famous for its orchards (notably oranges) and surrounded by beautiful public gardens. Afternoon panoramic tour with the guide to discover its Gothic Cathedral, the 'Micalet' bell tower, the symbol of the city, La Lonja (15th century), and the old market. Visit the new architecture of Santiago Calatrava in the City of Arts and Sciences. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - Valencia - Toledo - Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Toledo. Afternoon guided tour of Toledo, the former capital of Spain for several centuries. Stroll through its narrow medieval streets to see its historical evolution, numerous beautiful palaces, and especially its cathedral, which we will visit inside. Continue to Madrid. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 - Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning guided tour starting with the "Madrid of the Habsburgs" (the dynasty that reigned from the 16th to the early 18th century): in short, the oldest historical heart of the city, where the famous Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa are located. Continue with the "Madrid of the Bourbons" (the current dynasty) following the urban developments from the 18th and 19th centuries that have shaped the city: the wonderful fountains (Cibeles, Neptuno) along the Castellana, the main north-south axis of the city, the Stock Exchange, and the Parliament. Explanation of the Royal Palace and Royal Theater. Lunch at a restaurant with 'Tapas' (snacks). ** End of our services.
Free transfer to the airport. Departure of the direct flight to Venice with Iberia at 9:25 PM, arrival at Venice Marco Polo at 11:50 PM.
